Skills Guide
Introduction
Voyage Century offers you 17 unique skills to raise. These skills are divided into four main groups.
Initial skills are the ones your character start with. Fighting skills are the ones which are used to equip different types of weapons. Collecting skills are used to gather materials needed for production skills. Production skills are the ones which give final products like armors, weapons etc.
Each skill is divided into 3 phases.
Phase 1
- Every skill is in phase 1.
- Max level 31.
- When a skill reaches level 31 you won't receive any more experience unless you promote it to phase 2.
Phase 2
- Max level 100
- When a skill reaches level 31 it can be promoted to phase 2.
- Only 8 skills can be promoted into phase 2 at skill tutor.
- Voyage is already into phase 2 so you can actually promote 7 other skills to phase 2.
- Promoting 8th skill costs 5 000 000 silver coins.
- When a skill reaches level 100 you won't receive any more experience unless you promote it to phase 3.
- If you want to promote more than 8 skills you need

Phase 3
- Max level 120
- When a skill reaches level 120 you won't receive any more experience.
- You can't promote to phase 3 at skill tutor.

Item Mall Points. Its also dropped on Hurricane Island. To get item mall points you need to pay for them with real money.

Stunt skills
Every skill have its own sub skill called stunt skill. These stunt skills can be passive and active. Active skills are ones you have to activate yourself and they require SP points. Obviously passive skills don't require SP points to activate, they are already activated or have chance to activate.
When you reach certain levels you will receive stunt points. Stunt points can be spent for stunt skills at skill tutor. You should have in mind you can't buy some stunt skills if you don't have required level. For example you can't learn stunt skill level 2 unless you have main skill level 7. Even if you have enough stunt points you won't be able to buy it until your main skill level reaches level 7. At level 61 and 110 some main skills have special stunt skills which are sometimes called ultimate skills. Ultimate skills level can't be learned at skill tutor you need special skill promoting book. Each of stunt skills cost silver coins, there's table below which shows how much they cost.
At level 120 you will receive total 31 stunt points. Means you can't raise all stunt skills to level 12 so you should pick wisely. Table below shows on which levels you receive stunt points and which level min skill you need to unlock stunt skills which i explained above.

Titles
When you reach a certain level in some skill you will get option to buy title. Titles can be seen by other players when they roll over you. Titles are good for show of cause all players can see what level you reached according to your title.

Basic Skills
Voyage
Priority: High, you need to raise this skill.
Max level: 120
How to level: Sailing trough high seas and storms.
Best way to level: There's a place in Gibraltar near Seville without storms. Fill up your ship with provisions, lower your sails to minimum and leave your ship there. Make sure you don't have any trader goods or pirates my attack you.
Information's and tips: This skill is most important skill in game. All ships require voyage. Level 1 voyage for level 1 ship, level 11 voyage for level 2 ship, level 21 voyage for level 3 ship and so on. Voyage is requirement for dragon armors and hats and for Caribbean pirate profession uniforms and hats. Adventure ship give biggest amount of voyage experience. 10% of voyage experience goes in to ship maneuverability level. You don't have to learn this skill at skill tutor, you already have it. You don't need to promote this skill to phase 2 it is already promoted.
Voyage stunt skills
Full speed
Priority: Normal, your choice.
Type: Active
Cost: 100 SP
Max level: 12
Duration: 10 seconds at level 1 【+2 seconds for each level】
Information's: Speeds up your ship if its heavy damaged. Can be very helpful after you get out of storm or battlefield with holes in your sails.
+ Increases your ship speed. Can be used in offshore and high sea.
- Unable to fire cannons. Effect will disappear if you change direction. Not stackable with Alert or Pursuit.
Can only be used if your ship sail durability is at 60% or less.

Alert
Priority: High, you need to raise this skill.
Type: Active
Cost: 100 SP
Max level: 12
Duration: 30 seconds at level 1 【+5 seconds for each level】
Information's: Best voyage stunt skill. You need it even if you don't like sea battle a lot, this is most helpful sea battle skill. Level 12 recommended.
+ Increases your cannon damage power and reduces damage done to your ship.
- Decreases your ship speed to minimum. Can only be used in offshore only. Not stackable with Pursuit or Full speed.

Pursuit
Priority: Normal, your choice.
Type: Active
Cost: 100 SP
Max level: 12
Duration: 10 seconds at level 1 【+2 seconds for each level】
Information's: Speeds up your ship in offshore. Very helpful if your enemy is running away or chasing you. Stackable with ramming stunt. It will increase ramming damage if used together.
+ Increases your ship speed. Increases ramming damage.
- Decreases your cannon accuracy and increases damage done to your ship. Can be used in offshore only. Effect will disappear if you change direction. Not stackable with Alert or Full speed.
If you pursuit a player you will get 1 notoriety, be careful.
Eloquence
Priority: High, you need to raise this skill.
Max level: 120
How to level: Doing ability quests until level 61. After merchant missions and trading goods between cities.
Best way to level: There's Merchant Guild Master in every city. Do Merchant mission in these city's. Complete missions to gain experience. Quanzhou daily task.
Information's and tips: This skill is one of important skills in game. You need purchasing stunt skill to start merchant missions. Merchant ships require eloquence. Eloquence is requirement for dragon armors and hats and Armed Businessman profession uniforms and hats. Also for eloquence jewelery. Eloquence hats give best load. Eloquence uniforms allows you to sell more items on stall. Doing merchant missions is pure profit. You can earn millions. 80% of eloquence experience go to ship structure. Each level of structure give 40 hull durability and 5 load. You don't have to learn this skill at skill tutor, you already have it.
Eloquence stunt skills
Purchasing
Priority: Normal, your choice.
Type: Passive
Max level: 12
Information's: Allows you to buy higher level goods. Unlocks more merchant missions.
+ Allows you to buy higher level goods.
- Useless if you don't do merchant missions, storyline etc. Not worth raising on level 12 cause level 12 goods doesn't exist..

Information's: You can sell / buy more stuff on stall.
+ Unlocks more space on stall.
- Useless if you don't sell stuff on stall.

Information's: Pay less when bribing pirates.
+ Pay less when bribing pirates.
- Useless if you have sea mermaid.
Sea Battle
Priority: High, you need to raise this skill.
Max level: 120
How to level: Sink ships.
Best way to level: In battlefields. You should choose which one according to your ship level.
Information's and tips: This skill is one of important skills in game. Battleships require sea battle. Sea battle is requirement for dragon armors and hats and Royal Military Officer profession uniforms and hats. Even if you don't like to fight on sea this skill is still requirement for warrior alliance missions, storyline etc. Also some land jewelery require sea battle. You don't have to learn this skill at skill tutor, you already have it.
Sea Battle stunt skills
Cannon Fight
Priority: High, you need to raise this skill.
Type: Passive
Max level: 12
Information's: Allows you to use higher level cannons. Higher the cannon level, more damage it does.
+ Allows you to use higher level cannons.
- Nothing much.

Ramming
Priority: Normal, your choice.
Type: Active
Cost: 100 SP
Max level: 12
Duration: Until canceled.
Information's: Allows you to use higher level rams. Higher the ram level, more damage it does. Also more speed you have, more damage it does.
+ Deals massive damage. Great for those pesky smuggling ships if you can sink them in 1 hit. Stacks with pursuit.
- Only good for Adventure ship. Useless if you have a slow ship (like Merchant Ship), takes you forever to get close. Useless in PVP on Battle ship if your enemy have Adventure ship. If your target doesn't die in 1 hit you will have trouble shooting your cannons until you get away from him. It can fail sometimes when target is ramming you in the same time [Bug?]
If you enter ramming state and neutral player pops in front of your ship and you hit him accidentally you will get 1 notoriety, be careful.

Grappling
Priority: Normal, your choice.
Type: Active
Cost: 100 SP
Max level: 12
Information's: Grapples your enemy. There is 5 different grapples. Most used is one for close fighting.
+ 5 different types of grapples for different strategies. Great if you don't like sea fighting, you can always grapple (board) someone and fight on land.
- Short range. Can fail. Easy to cut grapples in close fighting. Some grapples are useless.
Bare-handed Fighting
Priority: High, you need to raise this skill.
Max level: 120
How to level: Fighting monsters.
Best way to level: Kill monsters with any weapon.
Information's and tips: This skill is most important skill in game. Bare-handed Fighting is requirement for dragon armors and hats and Imperial Guardian profession uniforms and hats. Also for some jeweleries. Each level gives HP. 80% experience of any fighting skill goes to Bare-handed fighting.
No need to kill monsters with bare hands. You don't have to learn this skill at skill tutor, you already have it.
Bare-handed Fighting stunt skills
Defense Promotion
Priority: High, you need to raise this skill.
Type: Passive
Max level: 12
Information's: Increases defense by 1% for each level of stunt. At level 12 it increases your base defense by 12%.
+ Increases defense by 1%, max 12%.
- Doesn't sound a lot but it helps.

Restore Concentration
Priority: High, you need to raise this skill.
Type: Passive
Max level: 12
Information's: Speeds up your health regeneration by 25% for each level. At level 12 it increases your base health regeneration by 300%.
+ Speeds up your health regeneration by 25%, max 300%
- Nothing much.

Muscle Promotion
Priority: Normal, your choice.
Type: Passive
Max level: 12
Information's: Increases your character loading by 5 for each level. At level 12 it increases your base load by 60.
+ Increases your character base load by 5, max 60.
- If you have good rings this stunt is not necessary. Not worth raising to level 12 compared to other two stunt skills.
